why do I only see a single entry with Soilwork, namely my own?!
Try listening to a few of their songs, they're great... Departure Plan, Distortion Sleep, Song of the Damned, Nerve, Stabbing the Drama, Weapon of Vanity... The list of good songs goes on

I don't really listen to Linkin Park.. I failed to properly express the sarcasm there; but fhpchris - I'm flattered.

Metal is an ever changing genre, every 2-3 years it seems to be totally redefined by the media.

Some of the Some-what metal-like bands I listen or used to:

Sepultura (check out new album 'Best of')
    Nightwish
    Iron Maiden
    Cradle of Filth
    Rammstein (early stuff)
some SlipKnot (idk wtf kids call it nowadays "Nu" metal?!)
Well if slipknot is there, than System of a down is "Nu Metal"

I also enjoy a lot of industrial like:
    Marilyn Manson
    Nine inch nails
    Mindless self indulgence
    Front 242
    Prodigy (techno?)
    and then also Crystal method
and while we're on the topic of non-related to thread things I like - red caviar, I like red caviar on white bread with butter.

Maybe because you skipped my post?

Still, Disarmonia Mundi is what Soilwork should have been.

    Thumbs up

I would consider myself an avid metal fan, and I play the bass and sing/growl for a couple of local bands. A few of my favourite bands include Emperor, Morbid Angel, Slayer, Nile, Nevermore, Arcturus, Death.
In combination with the new XS-logo, I thought I'd change my avatar a little. It's based on a t-shirt design from Morbid Angel (link, attachments don't seem to work). Quite fitting I think.
Cool to see that the Xtreme Owner is into metal as well!

Like Danzig the person, but not Danzig the band. I love the Misfits, though. That's probably because I'm more of a punk myself. I love just about all punk, not a big fan of metal, but for some reason I really like Motorhead and Rammstein.

    Metallica???

I've seen this one meantioned more than a few times. I assume everyone is talking about the black album and everything previous to that? 'Cause Load and everything later is certainly NOT metal.
