Question Need some advice on a ADSL modem/router

So far I've had no joy with a Netgear DG834 or a Linksys AG241 v2. With the netgear I suffered lots of NAT issues and problems upgrading firmware. With the linksys it would randomly block HTTP services, or sometimes block all of them.

So could anyone recommend a decent one please?

I've got a DG834G and cant be more happy. I've got the v2 though.... some ppl have had issues with the new web installer on the v3. I've never had a problem upgrading firmwares though, always just worked for me.

As for linksys, I've also had issues getting them going for long periods of time...

Maybe you should try US Robotics next...

That's why you need to configure them. If you let them do something for you, you'd have a lot of problems with them.

    Hallo
I am a IT Manager for a Group of Companies & Netgeat DG834uk is all we now use for ADSL installations. Most others we tried gave us grief.
Another good one we use over here (South Africa) is Microcom.
