    Team Xtreem 2x1gb DDR kits?

I am in need of a 2X1gb kit and I was looking at the Team Xtreem ones.

Does anyone have experience with using them.
    I am looking at Cronus 3-3-2-8 PC4000 BH-5 UTT

Or at Appolo 2.5-4-4-8 PC3200 BH-5 UTT IC

What have you guys gotten these sticks up to and when looking at the price which one would you recommend.

    Thanks alot.

i'm personally a fan of the micron based ones, but it seems that i am alone in that regard. either get the 3-3-3 or 3-3-2 sticks
Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them

Is there a reason to get the pc4000 sticks when on A64? Running a divider doesn't really hurt them does it, or can it affect overclocking consideratably. I have a 11x multi so I could probably run 1:1 with the pc4000.

Basicly it is a question between low lantency or higher bandwidth. The difference between them is about $50 would I be glad I spent the extra to go with the pc4000 sticks vs. the pc3200?

    Thanks so much.

Ive not used those particular sticks, but you will se a 'slight' advantage to going with the higher speed. Ideally, youd want 2.5-3-3-7 at 250Mhz (pc4000) but cas3 is tolerable. Ive got pc3200 ram that will run at ~240 2.5-3-3-7 and i can tell a difference between the timings vs. at pc3200 speed.
    Current: 2500k@ 4.0 // 8g Gskill // TZ68k+ // 5850 @ 900
Best way to catch me is by PM // AKA Harmavoidance0

    My CE-5@265 3-3-2-5 killed my TCCD@285+ 2.5-4-3-7, so I would go with the PC-4000 3-3-2 corunus

Cronus 3-3-2-8 PC4000 BH-5 UTT has been discontinued, unfortunately we made this decision due to the low demand and IC avability of DDR I. I apologize about it, and hope you can choose either 2Gb Kit Team Xtreem Cronus 3-4-4-8 PC4000 (Samsung) or 2Gb Kit Team Xtreem Cronus 3-3-3-8 PC4000 (Micron) . Anyhow, I will contact tankguys and ask them to take the I/A cronus off the website.

Neither of those kits use BH-5 UTT, the info on the TankGuys website is wrong. Actually, they both use Infineon chips if i'm not mistaking, Cronus PC4000 3-3-2 being higher grade CE-5. Get the PC4000 3-3-2 if you can still find it, or else get the PC4000 3-3-3 (Micron). PC4000 3-4-4 (Samsung) might be out of production too.

So if tankguys still has some in stock they can sell them right? It looks like they have some new chips instock also cause I checked last week and those ones you have suggested were not in stock. Thanks for the help.

It was called UTT because that is the industy standard for untested ICs.

You may find some OCZ PC4000 EB, which is CE5 or just buy the Micron PC4000 team stuff.
