coolbits, powerstrip, rivatuner are the only ones I have ever used. They are all pretty much self explanatory. They can be found at www.guru3d.com.

I like riva so far but I like collbits too.

I thought coolbits was just a registry hack? Thats how I did it when I actually used it.

But Im way beyond newbie in the video card realm.

Rivatuner is THE defacto tweak and overclocking utility for the NVidia cards/drivers. The most current version is RC10.2. I used to use NVMax until Andrew stopped developing it. It was an equal to Rivatuner ...but its no longer supported or updated.

Never had much luck with powerstrip. But if you've still got a voodoo card, there are drivers and some tweak progs a www.voodoofiles.com

It's not just for 3dfx card either. they have some vid and windows progs.

UniTuner and RadeonTweaker for ATI Users... both available from Rage3d.com as well as customised end-user written drivers etc
