Yep, they are popping up at buy sites around the net, just need to find one in stock. Watch for threads that pop up pointing out where stock is at that moment. These boards will sell out fast so keep your eyes open.

yeah they were in and out right away

fugger is there any main difference between the Pro and the MAX.
not to pinch pennies but if the cheaper is just as good and is only missing a few sata slots.. pfpfpf i'll take the cheaper one anyday.

but for me its all about high memory speed with my HZ's and staying at the 9x multi on my 6600 ES.
if i have to drop the multi just to get anywhere then i see no reason to ditch the DS3 i have in my sig.

They are available in some places already.

ABit are real keen to get this board up and about, I've had contact with the UK dept, they are keen to please. The Pro is now hitting 420-440 fsb with the new bios Fugger kindly posted, the Max should do even better.

I'll mention the desire to see a 1333 fsb strap too, for some nice phase clocks...

I saw them on stock at local Fry's today @ $279.99. Too bad I've already built my conroe, the mobo looks insanely hot. A bit strange no one has posted the results yet...

Edit: nvm just saw the other post

Passed 400 no problem with the new bios, nice clocking board so far.

No upward multi's on the beta bios.

Trying to tighten up timing I have run into a problem. I cannot set timing to match SPD and boot at the speed I can with SPD enabled. No where even close, its a bugged bios it seems. Others should be able to confirm soon.

433FSB booting into windows 4-4-4-8 (spd) 1:1 produces 4800 unbuff and 42.5ns meory latency.

I have a set of 6400C3 now and I will try figure out why I cant come off SPD.

I tested the Flashmenu currently available for download from Abit's download. Flashmenu seem to work fine with the AW9D-Max board in windows.

Yep. 433x10 is safe max bootable/benchable speed. I have timing now yay.

I like the board, its proving to be very stable for me. Its now in my game machine for 24/7 use.

Other than trimming some legs to prevent shorting the vapo fits fine.

Confirming that Flashmenu works fine, flashed the beta BIOS with it. Also confirming that this board is rocksolid

It's great to know that the aw9d is a 'good' board, but
what we really care about is the board's AC characteristics which
are measured strictly relative to other boards. Do you have another mobo you can compare the
aw9d to so we can determine if it has superior OC ability?

I am currently waiting on the motherboard. Hoping to receive it this week.

I personally think the out-of-the box performance and even with BIOS
updates this board should be one of the "cream of the crop" Conroe boards until C55 stuff starts coming out.
