Abit AW9-Max hits the US market

FYI...

Went to my local Micro Center today...and they had the AW9D-MAX in stock!!! It was 259.99...not bad...but not great...The store had 14 of them...Picked one up...can't wait to throw my E6600 in it...Anyone know where to get the beta bios for this board....?

well its a 975. i would say this is the best 975 board(aside from WSpro), and the p5b is the best 965 board.

just to OC my e6300 to 3ghz super stable, while maintaining temps very cool and quiet.

I just sent back a P5B deluxe to ZZF because it was bad, and bought another from newegg, but I've heard a lot about this board, and I'm just wondering if its worth it to give it a try instead.

as you can tell, I'm pretty green when it comes to Mobo's!

You can solve your slot issue by picking up a pci angle adapter. It might not work well in a standard case though. I prefer a techstation anyways.



It might block your PATA port or that molex. Here is their site. you have to email them to order though. I have in the past for servers and such. The overclocking applications are there due to cooling and such with multi gpu systems. Linkage

EDIT::::: They have a longer angle adapter that would be perfect if you want to use that floppy

How's 445 on a 9x multi? I could only do 439 x 8 on my P5W and that was with a 2mb chip.
