Actually P5b has 400 strap and maybe even 467 strap But sure time looks very good, usually allendale is like 2s slower for 1M

    More Gongrats!

I agree that all your results are truly impressive...I do not see why is that rush,do not become personal, guys!I am totally new to this forum so go easy on me,please I was able to get my E6400 Rev.B2 Stepping 6 to only 8 x 450=3600 MHz,1,525v in BIOS,Sys Mem Multi @ 2,5,which results in 1126 DDR II @ 5-5-5-20.I use GA-965P-DS3 F4E,with Super Talent DDRII 800 MHz (Micron),800 MHz@ 4-4-3-8...With Stock Intel Fan I have disabled in BIOS any Power Management and ports which I never use,and I have disabled the fan control so CPU FAN RPM raised from 1930 to 2400...

Wow, that is a KILLER time for an Allendale at those clocks. Competes with Conroes of the same exact speed and settings. Maybe you have 4MB chips and CPU-z is reading it wrong?

EDIT: Ummmm, your CPU-Z validations say: "SYSTEM NOT FULLY SUPPORTED"....if you have a question with what that means, click icon that says it.

Not to jump to conclusions, but something does very clearly seem amiss here. I don't see any sort of OS tweaks that could possibly shave off a clean two seconds in 1M Pi, and even if such tweaks existed, the chances of them making an Allendale score precisely as a Conroe normally would doesn't seem quite plausible. Somehow that ominous note given by the CPU-Z validation appears a bit more than simply coincidental when paired up with the Pi times.

From the other 4g 6300 thread, how are you over 2 sec ahead of them at 1mhz lower fsb?

it's a mystery with tweak and timings i dont think he could save 2seconds, with more L2 yes, but for cpuz the 4M Allendale is not new..

the only thing i can think off is this

i know that SPI runs funny occasionally so sometimes you get a larger variation on a not-so-stable PC when benching SPI 1M

second is that RAM......timings and speed are fairly high so that contributes.......but still breaking into 13s territory fair enough but 12.60 is incredible

Like I said, it can't be coincidental that all his 32M and 1M times show this inconsistency. The 11.672 at 4.4GHz is also only possible with Conroe.

Regular BIOS has problems @ FSB500+
    BTW - 1M time @ 500x7 (watercooled) on the same OS = 15.0__

    If you want - give me 1day - I can compare 1M results @ 500x7(water) stockBIOS + normalOS / moddedBIOS + kastratedOS

got the results: the thing that pumps down the time is my OS "cuts" about 0.5-0.6s of 1M time (average)

You've still got about a second to add before you're in tweaked-Allendale-league....now it's just an untweaked Conroe.

What exactly does the modded BIOS do? CPUz validation shouldn't freak out unless it does some really wacky stuff....

Perhaps more experienced members can help you resolve this "Unsupported" issue. And you can always add a disclaimer with your BIOS
