    On that note, I think that the Mac Pro would own it in apps like FCP and Logic.

    I'm not so sure. Not many programs take full advantage of the four cores yet, and with that overclock and less core overhead, that would be a pretty quick mac.

    In this fcp rendering benchmark, the Mac Pro was just as fast with two of its cores disabled.

    On the other hand with the Pro, you could render and use the other two cores to encode.
