P5B Deluxe: BIOS screens for maximum overclocking success

I am providing the following BIOS screens with comment in the hopes that this will answer some of the more frequent questions we get here at XS concerning how to unlock the full potential of the Asus P5B Deluxe motherboard.

Not every board is the same, not ever CPU/memory combination responds in the same manner. This guide is not intended as a 'Set-it-and-Forget-it' solution. As with all overclocking, user participation and thought is still required.

Other helpful information: Asus P5B-Deluxe; Problems & Fixes thread

    Good luck!

Is there a gain fsb wise from running the last one at 13? I ran 0-9-4-9 with 2*512 and now 0-10-5-10 on 2*1024.

What's a pro guide then? Set all stock volts and OC 5%, then run orthos for 72 hours to make sure it's stable? Give me a break. Only reason the guide has them to the max in BIOS is because you need to vmod to get real voltages

But what DDR2 sticks is that with ? I think that would depend on other factors in the NB timings...
Signature? are you kidding? with new stuff coming out every day, why bother ?

    FCG,

About the PECI, isn't that by disabling it the CPU temp reporting will not be accurate anymore ?

Why do you recommend disabling Vanderpool Tech? Virtualization seems pretty cool if I ever want to use it :p

What's the benefit of upping the voltage to the soutbridge?
Also, 1.65v on the NB and 1.45v on FSB termination scare me :~(

I cant go past 500fsb without raising SBv to 1.8. then it goes to 540fsb just an example...

Nice work fcg. I have a favor to ask of you now since this thread was stickied. Would it be possible for you to link to the p5b deluxe problems and fixes thread in the first post of this thread since that thread hasn't been stickied yet?
