nice looking memory but i am more curious about your TP35D3A7-Dlx. i have one here and was getting no where trying to overclock it. i fought to get 450FSB out of it, even on a newer beta BIOS from Biostar than the one your using.

my CPU is good for 560+ FSB like yours on most any other board so it was definitely something to do with the board. now that i have seen your results though i might have to flash the 08/23 BIOS and see what i can make it do.

BTW, what Performance Level where you running for 500FSB and the 560FSB clocks? TIA and again, nice work with that budget board
i don't quote in my signature, but best WR ever...

with an old bios i allready got 500 fsb stable http://www.overclocking-masters.com/...occt-500X7.PNG

I Think , newer bios doesnt improve fsb but it improves ram and some other voltage bug.

For FSB test , i will test asap this motherboard under cascade , my cpu is 620mhz + on P5kE and DFI LP UT P35 , But those motherboard use higher vpll than biostar, and i ll be good they add this function in bios .

If the VPLL is matched with the SB 1.5V, I believe i have the mod for both the TP35D2 and TP35D3...

    Impressive results!

    Any mods?

    i.e. max dimm is 1.85v(1.5v + 0.35v)

How did you get 1.9v for vdimm ?

    1.5v + 0.35v gives 1.91v real

If someone knows the NB/SB , Vdimm and vMCH mod , he is Welcome :p

Many RT9214s are applied to TP35D3

One of RT9214 is for VMEM.

    http://www.datasheet4u.com/html/R/T/...ology.pdf.html

    But not sure.

yeah, i didn't bother to figure the vmods out because i couldn't get my board to clock well at all but the RT9214 is pretty much everywhere on this board. here is where it is near the DIMM slots:

and another one close to the northbridge:

Pin 6 is the FB pin and pin 3 is GND so if you solder a VR to 6 and 3 you should be in business. not sure what the resistance should be though for each, you will have to do some checking. again, i haven't tested or even probed them, just making an educated guess. HTH

thats def a good cpu then, the 6750s i have here only do around 620 under ln2.

yeah, you def need a vmch mod badly, to get 1900+ stable you need 1.65+ i think.
Did the sb voltage help at all? i always left it at default so far...

max vdimm for this board is 1.95 or something right? too bad...
freak had this board at the awardfabrik ln2 party this weekend, but he couldnt get it to clock well i think. he said with the latest bios all dividers work until 400fsb, after that only 1:2 works. he tried systool but the pll of the board isnt supported yet, maybe itll work with some setfsb or clockgen option...

i think the 400fsb thing is a strap or perf level thing... how is the perf level setting on this board?
close to the max or can you always lower it by at least one level like on the p5k3?

oh and 3oh6, awesome pics and thx for sharing the mod infos, good stuff!

btw, pt1t, did you try the white slots on the board?
curious if they are better than the first ones like on the p5k3
