i know crappy pi time but that is not what i was shooting for.
Very nice! I remember Rol-co was showing here a SPi1M @ 476-481Mhz 8-3-3-3.0 on his P5W DH Deluxe but I don't recall voltage - doubt it was at 2.4v he mentioned in his 1st post for CAS4 results, though. Have you perhaps tried SPi32M yet? What RAM is it that you're using?

Hehe, well first I need those AM2 mounting kits for my single stage phase and then be glad to join that. That 3200+ is not very confident at 3GHz and my air-cooler I did below ~27s with S939, but on AM2 I kind of think DDR2-1000 8-3-3-3.0 will not be enough. I have a feeling I better figure out how to run that damn 1200 8-4-4-4.0 instead Your 3GHz result was nice, that's for sure...

Bachus, your results are very nice.
What could perform these sticks with Intel platform ?

I have P5WD2-E + 930D and I would like to compare our results

bachus im using gskill 6400 HZ's yea i know i plan on doing some more testing with more volts im scared to try 3v!!!!! i saw your last results were at 2.9v

in my next post i will show more stability testing.

how stable was your 1000mhz CAS3?

So, I just started testing another 2GB kit. It's Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C3 and so far I have only done minimum, warm-up run of SPi32M at DDR2-940 8-3-3-3.0 with 2.8vdimm - check out my initial post, if interested, please. Thanks!

Well, I'm stopping at 2.9vdimm and I don't think will go for higher voltage. Although, 32M @ 490Mhz is very tempting
As for my DDR2-1000 8-3-3-3.0 - it was not stable at all, just a try for max CPU-Z Validation...

i'm honestly curious to see how a 2x256mb or 2x512mb kit would do. imo, benching doesn't need 2gb yet, and 512mb sticks clock better.... 256mb are insane. from a crucial value stick at 2.4v:

at any rate, keep up the good work bachus. nice to see some xtreme voltage
Got a fan over those memory sticks? No? Well get to it before you kill them

B A , thanks for the great review. always fun to read your posts.

Personally, I think 2,9vdimm for DDR2 is sick man

Hehe, look at outcast623's post in this thread - http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...2&postcount=46 - he's on P5WD2-E Premium and 6400HZ Also, another member, Rol-co has a thread in this section where he shows some ~475Mhz 8-3-3-3.0 on P5W DH Deluxe and 8000HZ, as far as I remember. I think, 450+ 8-3-3.0 has been done on P5W DH by quite few guys, including k|ngp|n and kyosen If I'm not mistaken, both with Corsair 6400C3. I don't know If they tried any higher, though...

I was actually thinking about doing some 2.8v+ clocking with e.g 2x512MB of Corsair 6400C4 or TeamGroup TXDD1024M800HC4 or Mushkin 996522. Those are relateively inexpensive (~$150) and should clock a tad better than 2x1GB. I don't expect a whooping difference, but I'm sure there will be some. I'll see what I can do, although I got used to 2GB already

Yes I know their results but 570+ 4-4-4-12 is much performant than 470+ 3-3-3-8.

I just wanted to know cas 4 results on intel platforms (default 1T ?)

Nice, BH-5 DDR2, when I switch to DDR2 I'll try 3.3V on some cheap sticks

I am at 2.5v and I have the same C3 memory.

Here is a screenshot or my current settings. I think I will have to pencil mod my mobo and bring my memory to 2.8v :P

Any ideas for the pencil mod on Asus M2N32-SLI?

Here is the pic: (Edit: I am at work, dont mind the Guru3d stuff, got in a arguement, and had to post there.. my real home is here )

--- As promised, I have some new screens, for those of you still interested in seeing them ---

Check out my initial post for updates #2 and #3 ---> CORSAIR 6400C3 gets grilled!!! With this set, I hit my new highs

    Max 32M & 3D stable DDR-968 8-3-3-3.0

    Max CPU-Z Validation DDR-1010 8-3-3-3.0

Unfortunately, until I receive new mounting kits for my single stage (hopefully very soon), this is going to be the limit as CPU just won't go past 2920Mhz for SPi32M calculation, with my current air-cooling. I'm absolutely convinced, that 32M-stable 490-495MHz 8-3-3-3.0 will happen

    Thanks for dropping by

Wow. Just thought I would start looking at the fat body threads since I have some headed my way, along with some other parts. Fantastic results and as always very well documented. So you've done Gskill, Corsair and now some ....?

Thanks gundamit Another 2GB kit will be SuperTalent's brand new PC2-8000 CAS4 product - T1000UX2G4. But first, I will run my OCing Report on it, though.

Hmmm ... Supertalent just announced them in a August 7th press release and I don't see them in the retail supply chain yet. I do see the CAS 5 T1000UX2G5 version over at Ewiz and I imagine they would be the first to get new products from Supertalent, so I'm guessing you have a special source? New blue ridged heat spreaders? At least they won't look ugly.

Yes, that's the one and it should be available any time now, from what I know.
    I have just posted that - http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=112790
