    Windows reports wrong CPU speed

What the hell?????...DQ6 with F4d beta bios. I've established that the FSB wall on my mobo is 340MHz, anything past this it won't boot.

So i try 338x8=2704MHz. My G.SKILL HZ is running 450MHz (DDR2 900)...but when i look in Windows it shows me the CPU is running 3040Mhz????.

Why?...if i use a 6x/7x or 8x multi this issue is present, a 9x muliti it displays it fine, has anyone experienced this problem?

    CPU-Z reports the correct speed....

Its prolly the same reason why gigabytes own software ALWAYS reports the cpu speed as if the multiplier were maxed even when it isn't. Don't worry it affects absolutly nothing.
