can someone using the 0507 bios for this board please try to undervolt their cpu as low as they can get it and see if the board reports a cpu over voltage error? right now i have my stepping 4 E6300 running at 1.1vcore and when the board boots it reports an overvoltage error.anyone else have this problem?

This is probably only because the ASUS engineers didn't remember to put a separate error message for overvoltage and undervoltage. As long as the undervoltage is stable, I'd say it's fine, though I ended up backing off to 1.15v in order to get rid of the error message, just to be safe.
