Messing around with my TCCD (Patriot XBLK) 2.5-3-3-7 timings.

After some guy with a Pentium D went on and on about how he could outbench me easily because the Athlon X2's are way behind in technology, i decided to do a little overclocking to see where this computer stands against his Pentium D 920@4 GHz, with his DDR2-533 at CAS3. The last time i messed around with this stuff, i'd lock up at 282 MHz. Last night, i had no idea at all why it was doing so much better, but im pretty impressed. Maxed my processor out with a 9x Multi and 2.5-3-3-7 timings. thats pretty sad...right? haha. sorry for no superpi benches or anything. ill get on that later tonight. i was going for the max overclock with my RAM since my cpu clocks like crap.

theres one. i was able to get it to DDR620 at the exact same timings, and i messed around for an hour since some german guy needed help with his computer...its definitely not prime stable, but its still MUCH higher than the 282 i was able to do before. after trying to go up another few MHz, i maxed the processor out . but after lowering the cpu multi to 8x, i wasnt able to get any higher. im much more impressed with this system as i was before.

superpi at 2.77 GHz: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...fromyou/29.jpg , not bad.

Nice! I read about that ram a while back, but the review said it was crap because it clocked in at ~680 with the funky SPD timings. So I got my current stuff.
