    First off, lets get an install guide in this biatch. I'm clueless (what else is new)

    That's good to hear, I was informed that it leeched ram. What project are you running; cancer,FAAH etc?
    Can anyone else say if they are getting high ram usage? thanks

    All three. I'm not using BOINC though, but their own client. It's using a crap load of Page File but not much RAM.

    Cancer=750Mb
    Aids=250Mb
    Otherone=250mb

    These are the requirements from WGC

    The cancer project seems stressful to me[ I have mid level AMD's] I opted for the Aids project.

    I'm running from Philosophy and Movieman, otherwise I'll be losing my pie I won't be catching you in a hurry anyway my sister's boyfriend insists on downloading all the time so my output drops and apparently blocking him access to the net is "unfair", at this rate AOL will never tell me to stop and give me an excuse to change it .

    Have you got your comcast troubles sorted out yet? we need some more people in that project w're only 2nd or 3rd in the dailies.

    Please note that WCG's own client has a default CPU useage setting of 60% - you need to download a special tool to allow you to increase the CPU useage to 100% if required:

    The tool can be downloaded from HERE. For those who want to check the md5sum to be certain it was downloaded correctly, the md5sum value is be682ba3260490f20fe5eb5672ff6909. After downloading the tool, run it, set the slider to the desired percentage and click OK

    Personally I'd avoid using the WCG client - Boinc is much more flexible and you get more points too....
