I also have to leave for work in 8 minutes (and get showered and dressed before that), so no time to play though

Gonna make this work day slow as hell, why's the mail gotta come before I leave?

Anyway, a big thanks to XS and Team (and all other sponsors) for putting this great contest together

I learn alot of DDR1 tricks that I attempted to use with Zeus BH5 but it just wouldnt run in my RDX200. Maybe I get a few pointers from the master and whip you guys with my megahertz.

    Some 1600*1200 pics

Huge thanks to fhpchris for letting me test his prize

Currently at 555 4-4-4-8 2t trc=12 2.5v trying to get more. Can't tell if it's this stupid dual core holding me back. Still tweaking timings and the like as my Ballistix use different ICs and the old timings aren't working for these.

... and what was that supposed to mean? Are you OK, Kevin? Anyway, Mark has already started a thread for those folks that got the kits - XS Contest: TeamGroup DDR2-667 3-3-3-8 2x512mb - and results are welcome there.

So, If that was hinting anything about me (which I think it was) then I have no idea what your problem is...

as I said before, you seems not happy with Team group every single product, and only just push Gskill, For a XS Fair ram reviewer, this is NOT really a good idea I PM you previously talking that if you are inetersted , I can do that, but looks like you are getting not really friendly which just totally different than what you said to me Even an idiot can see Bachus is push gskill to the max.

Lets just say Gskill makes good products...

for the record Kevin, BOTH of AFI's Ballistix 5400 kits are faster than the 5400 kit I got in CAS4, but the Team stuff is faster CAS3 than the slower set of ballistix.

I am not complaining or anything, I just want to see the good manufactures (Team, OCZ, Gskill in no order) get along.

You cant call 550 4-4-4 slow!

I dont want to steal his thunder though.

Don't jump to conclusions chris. I'm not done testing. I know for sure my GOOD ballistix kit is better but they seem to be golden sticks. I also think my CPU might be a problem.

Nah, I don't doubt any manufacture and pretty much give them all my full respect, since I have left Gskill, I never said bad after. All I want is "Fairness"

What a hell are you talking about? Where did that come from? Only because I don't have a chance to play with TG products (except for UTT stuff in the past), you think I'm unfriendly to TG? Come one, get real, Kevin! It makes no difference to me - I can see that you have not noticed I was testing not only G.Skill, but also Corsair (great CE-5), Mushkin (best CE-5 I ever tested), OCZ (CE-6), Patriot (very good UCCC result) and yes, Team (best UTT tested by me) as well.

If you were clear enough about that offer to test TG, then it would be no problem for me to do it. It only up to you and others at TG... Just make it clear! You can send a pair of whatever anyday and I will test it as hard as I do with others' vendors product. I did two DDR2 reports so far (at up to 2.5v - G.Skill 2GBHZ was best at CAS4 and Corsair 6400C3 was best at CAS3) and will have another one coming soon - and no, it's not G.Skill but something totally different. I will be updating my "2.8-2.9v thread" soon as well, with more great results from 6400C3.

For the record, this post will even show you that I'm interested in testing TG's 2x512MB D9Gxx kit... So, you can see that what you said above, is totally wrong.

Kevin, you are really, really off the mark this time You really can't stop, can you? If you have anything to say, just PM me or MSN. But no, you have this habit of just doing it all in public. How professional Just let your silly impression of me "not liking TG" go away! You must be paranoic or something... I used to question some of TG's practices in the past, particularly the way new products were promoted on XS - unusually good and high results. But it's all back to normal now and I have no problem with TG at all. Just let it go and move on, Kevin! I have no idea what your problem seems to be, but you sure have one!

Anyway, this thread has served its purpose. Results from all those kits are more than welcome in a thread, that ozzimark created in Xtreme Bandwidth.

This thread will be closed now and njkid32 or any mod may reopen it later, if need be. If you have anything more to say to me, Kevin - you know where to find me.
