That is absolutely OK. What do you think you need the trimmers for? The max. values are chosen not to change the original voltage. Trimming the resistance down will give you higher voltage. I only said 1 MOhm because I wanted the original circuit to be rather uninfluenced.

Tried now 1 MOhm + 100 kOhm (in serie) and saw following: vPll decrease at less then 100 kOhm...
Maybe we have an error in our thoughts...
We put negative potential to positiv, which should cause decrease, we have to put positive potential to vPll to increase...
Maybe we should discuss this via ICQ...
