weird..where's this 10 bios?does it supports e6400?
i still can't use the 533 and 667 dividers even with 213
1070 was on Asus web site before (mine came with it) but asus deleted it. Don't know why since it's still the most stable bios for non conroe cpu.
for conroe, you have a ucode error at start.

i had that ucode crap too with the bios onboard..but no biggie since it works fineOriginally Posted by Vric
What are the chances of this thing taking a 6300,6400 to 3G;s?

with 6400 fairly good. with 6300 it would be hard.Originally Posted by GOATSLAYER

E6300 is impossible to hit 3G with a 400mhz limit. E6300 has a multi of 7X so max it could hit is 2.8ghz which aint bad. I could not run it stable at 2.8ghz so I went down to 2.6ghz as I mentioned before. Now that my AS5 paste has settled I noticed nice temp drops and I'm at 2.7ghz stable after burn in and running dual superpi. I used vcore of 1.4 and shows 1.37 on probe. The best is to use the lowest voltage you can to run stable as it affects your temperatures greatly with this cpu. At 2.8hz when I did a burn in with sisopht though its alarms went off at 60c. I touched the HSF at 50c and higher and it feels luke warm. If that is the case then it is the NB that can't handle the higher speeds and it's not because of cooling (since I used a fan+as5 on my NB it also runs cool to the touch).
If they don't raise the fsb to 500, when I want to upgrade in 2 years I'm not sticking anything faster than a e6800 in this board, Ide rather get a new mobo.

Tried the new 0309 bios and had huge problems with random reboots. Never got a chance to really play with the expanded options because windows kept locking up/rebooting every 10-15 minutes.

oh it's here
i'll try it later

New Bios screen:
FSB up to 650Mhz (also note auto calculation memory)
FSB Termination Voltage raised from 1.3V to 1.45V with more options
Lot more SPD settings.
Also note, this bios have the same problem as the 0211 and 0213 with 533Mhz fsb CPU (Celeron and 805) Overclocking is simply impossible or very unstable (I was able to boot half of the time at 150Mhz fsb with USB legacy off.. With 0170 bios it work perfectly up to FSB 190Mhz) Divider don't work either. (they are available starting 150Mhz, but if I choose DDR600 for example, I simply won't boot.)
I wrote to Asus about the problem with 533Mhz CPU, they offered me a new Bios chip (which isn't even swappable on this board) They simply don't care and don't know what we are talking about.
I'm running this Bios right now, but my CPU is at stock.

uhm nice..more volt on fsb too..lol i like now the ram settings more stuffs
wow finally more timings to play with!
---
If someone with Conroe could try it, I would be useful. I can't do more with my Celeron.
I might flash back to 0170 since it's the only bios that allow me to overclock. (even 135Mhz is unstable with other bios)

Anyone encounter problems yet? I'm 2 hours into dual priming my previous stable 24/7 overclock on the 0213 bios so I'm reasonably convinced that the bios flash was the source of the reboots. Are there any outstanding problems with Team's new memory that I ought to know about (perhaps one of the newly tweakable timings/settings causing problems)?

weird so it wasn't the vcore too low..it's still giving me error at 400x8 same settings changed vcore only
Have you changed any of the additional memory timings in the new bios? I guess my case is isolated if you aren't experiencing any trouble. What kind of video card are you running and do you have any additional pci cards? Do you have usb legacy support disabled?
