    is this normal ?

I have the swifty MCW50-T ( 80watt pelt ) and the molex connector is very hot when it is on. RIght where I have it connecting to the power... also the wires themselves are quite warm..... is this normal ? it is getting hot enough to start to discolor the connector...

    is this kosher ?

TEC wires can get quite hot, but it's generally a better idea to solder to the power supply wires, rather than to use a molex connector, since there's a fairly high resistance at the molex connector compared to a solder joint.

I'm also running the MCW50-T uisng the molex connector without any heat issues.

Not sure why you are getting that kinda heat out of an 80w pelt.

Hmm, I don't know why it is happening and I don't like it at all.

something is not right... could there be a problem with it shorting somehow inside the connector ? but without sparking ? I dunno
