    today has been a bit cooler but it's still not fun out, the humidity is around 60% (picture shows indoor humidity)

    Sure, pull out all those new high end tech devices while I take a picture of a 20 year old thermometer!
    Next you'll be telling me my DX700 isn't state of the art!
    I should add this before you guys start laughing too loud: That old machine has done just under 60,000 points in Rosy at a 400-450 point a day pace and it also runs 24/7 as a file server..Uptime is almost perfect:
    % of time BOINC client is running 96.8916 %
    While BOINC running, % of time work is allowed 96.0963 %

    talk about some strange heat sinks... looks cool actually

    it's gotten even hotter since it's mid afternoon - ouch

    Those P3 Xeons seem to get just as hot as the P4 ones

    Foxxconn heatpipes, from before heatpipes were even common..
    Can you say 33C for a 700/2mb/100 P3 xeon OC'd to 784 running at 100%
    That's in a supermicro SC830(cube) case, the 80mm I added just behind the cooling fins of the HS dropped the temps 7C..
