    Just because zipzoomfly says something is in stock doesnt mean it really is. I found this out the hardway once. Check them out on resellerratings.com many complaints about it.

    Well, I can say that the number of "in stock" 6300s is going down. If you go and try to calculate 20 chips, it lowers the amount down to what they "have." I've seen it at 11 and now it's down to 10.

    I know someone over at Anand's brought the number down lower at the end (the 6300s), said he bought a "few" of them.

    I'm just hoping the one person over there that said the 6600s were in stock at one point was just reading something wrong. No one else has confirmed seeing the other ones up.

    Shouldn't be too shabby. Although, I was aiming for 400FSB since I have 2GB of DDR2 800 waiting for it.

    Hopefully that's money saved towards my Kentsfield upgrade.

    Eitherway though, that's one small step for man, and one giant step from an old Northwood 3.0C.

    Editted my post slightly. No, someone bought a few of the 6300s we were talking about. Just also mentioned that someone at Anand said they saw the 6600s available; I'm not sure if I trust that info though as no one else has mentioned seeing them.

    The E6300s even @ just 2.6 aren't bad at all. See Anand's article ocing with the PoS stock HSF. It beats the the FX-62 at that speed without a hitch.

    Yeah ZZF is now showing E6300s as backordered. I got mine though. I have a confirmed order. No ship. I'll check it again in the morning.

    Are people absolutely sure the $185 for the 6300 was a 1000 unit tray pice and not MSRP? I've heard people say one or the other, but I've never been shown definitively whether it's one or the other.

    Is a 400FSB stable overclock with the 6300 reasonable without heavy modding, or is that just absolutely pure fantasy on my part.

    It's MSRP for 1,000 tray OEM. I talked to David from BLT and quoted him the MSRP of $316 for the E6600 and he said that was less then what they paid to get them themselves.
