    MAV's Kentsfield Achievements

    Rig Set-Up

    Kentsfield 6700 - Step 4
    Asus P5W DH - VDroop, Vcore, VDIMM, VMC and VFSB mods by persivore
    OCZ PC8000 XTC Ram (2x1GB)
    2x 7900GTX - volt mods by persivore
    2x 150GB Raptors (RAID 0 on ICH7)
    2x 250GB Hitachi Deskstars 7K250 (1xICH7 and 1x JMC)
    1x PCP&C 1Kw PSU

    CPU cooled with Mach2, R507 reags and chilly1 head

    7900's watercooled with EXOS2 with AQZ050 pump inline for better flow.

    I will be but I doubt I'll clock it as hi for 24/7 - this beauty soaks up 950w fully loaded in 3dm06 canyon flight.

    how much does the temps go over zero? Thinking of my dual-core I can't even get under sub when around 3 gig but this must be a heat machine ^^ 950W is xtreme.
    but so far over 4 gig this is some incredible power in one system...can't wait to see those CPUs joining the XS DC community

    Lets not forget that that power consumtpion is for everything (the mach pulls 380w loaded), including the mach and my 24" Dell TFT.

    I can't tell you the temps as I haven't found monitoring software that will measure subzero

    My FX60 at 3.5ghz was +3 degrees under full load on my r507 mach with chilly1 head - The evap temps on this cpu seem to be better though under load.

    Not with my board - apparently you can with the Bad Axe board, but who knows what the next BIOS update will bring?

    I am gonna see what consumption I get when I engage 3.9g's at 1.5v, be good if I can do that and stay circa 850w in 3d.
