Hope it's just a spelling mistake, would wonder me - such overclock but missunderstood Pi
"PI stable" indicates the fact that such FSB is stable enough to do a run of PI1m and thats about it I guess, nowhere he said that PI1m stable = rock stable.

Nice job phasing the NB, odjr

if just you could run that FSB 1:1 with ram it would be

no problem (hope you don't think I'm one of the ones hunting for spelling mistakes )

Anyway still love the Mach I chipset cooling, will there come E6700 or 6800 to you? Your "base" would be perfect for these

PS: unfortunatly the topic title itself won't get updated just the subject line of the first post

Why cant you run 1:1?? Ram cant handle it?? Really nice clocks. I think its time for LN2 on chipset.

    Waiting for 6800

Yes, the board can't handle 1:1 with fsb above 460 in my case. Tried with 3 different sets of RAM

" Note: In order for a Core 2 DUO (Conroe) processor to work with the Asus P5W DH Deluxe mainboard you may require to perform a BIOS update which will require an older processor or contacting Asus for a new BIOS chip. OcUK does not provide a BIOS flashing service and will not accept used product back unwanted as this board does support Conroe with Asus latest BIOS "

Somebody know if this is true ?

Yes that is indeed true, i had to flash the bios with my 940D, then it just went black and could not boot up.
Trough my E6600 in, and it bootes fine.
However, i believe i read somewhere that the new revisions of this board should have the bios on it for conroe, so you can just boot up.
    But i´m NOT totally sure.
    Nice results.
    I can´t get my 6600 over 3,63, on water

there is a sticker on the bios chip, if it says " 0701" it will work out of the box with conroe
