whaat? I haven't had problems w/newegg's site, ever.
Maybe a fresh os install would fix it.

Some problems for the past few weeks here as well. Mainly with the pictures. Sometimes I cannot get them to open, other times, it just works right away!

Whoa! I checked at noon PST today and they weren't there. I'm _thrilled_.

Their memory selection of FBDIMMs has been good as well lately. 667 mhz memory is only costing $167ish per GB in some instances.

i was questioning the seriousness of the suggestion to reformat because newegg wont load

and i never try waiting more than about 10secs if no bars are coming up, so newegg MIGHT load if i wait a couple minutes...

I never take more than 10 seconds to get into the site with all the problems. All you need to do is type the address and hit enter, if you don't see the "Loading <blah blah>" at the bottom, select the address and hit enter again. Keep doing that until you get a good connection. Once I get a good connection (never more than a couple clicks), I never have problems looking at their site for the rest of the time I'm looking around. This is with Firefox.

I've never had a problem with the site, and I check it very often.
Use IE, Firefox; Windows XP and DamnSmallLinux.

Newegg doesn't work for me anymore.

then occassionally when I try background ways to get on, like thier secure server... I get it to load, but only 1 page works... with a message.

sorry, we are having problems with our servers, please try again later.

Huh, I have never had a problem with Newegg, either at home or at work, running IE6.0 or Opera 9.0.

Your browsers must be jacked. Some spyware scans might be in order.

I visit the egg every day, no problems here at all. I'm using Firefox as well.

Newegg works here on firefox, but it seems slow.

The markup on the 5150 is more than $60 over the 1000 count pricing. Oh well.

400 bucks for the 2.0 GHz part?

Granted the equivalent (Opteron 280) is $800 but still...

I can only get Newegg's homepage to work with Firefox. Everything else just reads that the server is taking too long to respond. When I load up IE everything loads instantly.

Newegg has problems a lot of times for me as well, but if I go to www.newegg.com and navigate from there it often works that way.
Does the 5xxx series not support HT?
