    My Core 2 Duo X6800 RETAIL has arrived in my hands!!

    remember those links that were shown on Sunday? I took a leap of faith and ordered one from Cost Central.

    I have it in my hands as we speak. I am going to isntall it into my rev 304 BadAxe. We'll see what happens afterwards =))))

    Do some benches please, and lets see if the retail chips offer similar performance to the initial reviews by Anandtech, Tech-Report etc which used Intel provided chips, rather than engineering samples..

    The X6800s, E6400s and E6300s are all out though.
