I hope it gives the 8RDA+ a little performance boost like the 8RGA+ seems to have.

Not a beta, official release. Fixes some C1 errors supposedly, and adds confirmation of dual channel in use on the boot screen. Plus the usual small list of insignificant fixes.

Yep your right.. I don't know why I wrote beta, but I can't change it in the thread post.......

I have had a reboot and an error using IE6 with this new bios at 220 mhz fsb, where as I never got them B4 installing this...
I am going to be reverting back to 3129 I think.
WOW they put Dual on the bootup screen so noobs would know, and they wouldn't have to keep answering emails about it.

    BAH so far...........

    Good to hear!

Naturally 8rda.com has stated that this bios is crap (and also stated that i'm being bought off by newegg, and only running my site to become "rich and famous" ) I stand by this bios so far, and it won't be possible to make a final determination on it for at least a few more days.

    Here is the change list:
    1/29/03 (8RDA3303)
    Update BPL 2.89
    Change CPU frequency update method
Updates ROMSIP & BPL to version 2.84
Changed default AGP aperture size from 32 to 64 MB
Solved issue from hanging during post "C1" when OC memory
Added IDE DMA transfer function support
Memory timings setting fail issue solved
    Added Magic Health Support
USB Keyboard support item default changed to Enabled
Changed Athlon detection for new models and fixed ratio's
F10 Save CMOS / hang up issue solved

    Real change list (incomplete):
    1. Dual channel ddr enable/disable is shown at post
When saving the bios, the system exits the bios, waits, saves (red screen shows for a sec), then reboots. This is much safer for
    2. The bios chip
    3. Full screen logo option has been added. Not 100% sure what this is because I haven't tested it yet.

Posted about this bios in the overclocking forum.....i was able to solve the cold boot issue prior to loading this bios by setting cpu interface to optimal rather than aggressive. But after loading this bios, aggressive works as well !!
The downside that i have noticed is that memory performance in Sandra benches is adversely affected.....
    Bios 3129 220fsb CAS2 5-3-2 Sync. 3400/3208 Optimal
    Bios 3303 220fsb CAS2 5-3-2 Sync. 3360/3151 Optimal
    Bios 3303 220fsb CAS2 5-3-2 Sync. 3374/3169 Aggressive

So currently running 3129 again, with cpu int. at optimal.
Pls share your findings and post.....
    Cheers

Here is a Beta BIOS that was posted by someone over at AOA.

Has anyone tried it or has even heard of it before?
