Preliminary Conroe SLI testing 7900GTX Air

My GPU mousepots and C3's don't arrive till Tuesday so last night I tried some SLI on
the P5W DH with the 7900 GTX on air w/ Stock cooler and NO mods.

    E6700ES B0 clocked at a conservative 4200mhz under ice.

    Not bad for a start.

CPU: Intel Conroe E6700 ES QLLO B0 w/ Mousepot
    Vcore: 1.65
    Memory: OCZ PC2-8000 XTC 2gb
    PSU: Powerstream 600w
    GFX: Stock XFX 7900GTX x 2
Mobo: Asus P5W DH Deluxe unmodded

Oh and of course ran some 32M

Some great 3D numbers with air. No doubt we're going to see something a little more special next week with the freeze.

Nice Gotta love the basement setup. Why don't you insulate the mobo aroung socket? Don't want to bother with all the caps?

Denny, no cold boot problems at all. Using 0065. I didn't try any other bios but at -70C no problems booting up.

Vdroop is pretty bad on my board though... need to put in droop mod...
