I'm having a hell of a time getting my Masterkleer tubing onto my Tyee GPU waterblock... Is it even possible to get 7/16" tubing on those fat barbs? I think the barb diameter is the same diameter as my tubing's OD

soak tubing ends in warm/hot water?
(put some back into it/ and some knuckle skin most likely)
It will go... just takes time and force...
I've tried the hot water trick before, just didn't seem to help much. Maybe I didn't soak it long enough? Only put it in there for about 5 seconds...
(btw is it ok to use regular tap water to soak my tubing? contamination should be insignificant right?)
Yes, its alright and won't harm anything. I ran my loop with regular tap water for about two months, by the way, and not a stain on any of my blocks...

You need to use water that's at a full boil and leave the tubing in for about 15 seconds or so.
I'm confident it can be done...I've got 3/8" Tygon stretched over my 1/2" barbs.
