    Fan Mount Conundrum

    I have a bit of a wierd thing here, its a 7" radial fan, maybe by comair rotron, but look No mounting holes!

    Any ideas anyone?

    Depending on what you are using it for you could make 4 small brackets to hold it in place.

    You could take some 3/4" x 1/16" steel strapping and wrap the circle down to a v-shaped pair of legs with a bolt through the legs where they meet and then bend 90 degree feet and drill holes for bolting the feet down.

    Don't have any ideas about the mounting holes, but I'd suggest you keep your fingers out of the blades...OUCH,

    Use some screws to hold the fan by the rim?

    I would try to find a big C-clip, then drill holes after getting it around those two flanges.

    Drill a hole, file a hole, hump a hole, etc.
    Use big washers.
    Use shroud with mounting clips.
