    Qmc

I was happy to see some small work units today. Two to three hours each, and I managed to get about 10 finished, so I'm doing my part in helping on QMC.

Just to let you guys know, I have a rig split 50/50 with R@H and QMC. I am testing how long BOINC should work on a given project before switching, right now I have it set to work for 12 hours on one project, then switch. I think the switching every 60 mins kills your score, too much switching. If anyone has tested this also, lets compare results and work on finding the optimal timing....

LV_DD, where is the setting for that? I'm running 50/50 Rosey and QMC too, and i want to set it to 24H on each portion (as i run 24H WUs in rosey, thus getting at least 1 wu done before switching, regardless of project)

Go to each different projects page and access your account.
It is in the general settings for BOINC.
Default is 60 minutes, I adjusted mine to 720 minutes (12 hours).

I am going to let it go for another day or two and watch the effects on my R@H score, then report back here. If anyone else is trying different settings than what I am, could you also report the effect on your scores?

All WU's seem small after running f@h One of my AXP's spent literally a week trying to crank out a monster f@h WU recently. Stangely, I set up BOINC on a box yesterday & it was configured for Rosetta (for jimwah, team XS too, identified by IP I guess ) & it looked like it was half-way though 2 WU's before I could detach the project?!

If you had Boinc installed and running on that machine before, it keeps a Boinc file folder in Program files, and keeps info on certain projects.
Once you re-install Boinc, it picks up on those files.

Yes, I got a little burnt out on F@H's big muti day work units, although I like F@H as a project.

    Hi Haltech

Is it just me, or did TeAm AnandTech just wake up? - I wonder if they're feeling a little threatened? I'm sure their production wasn't so high in recent days.

Looks like they have noticed us. We need to attack now and drive that gap down.

My production in qmc should go up a bunch starting tomorrow. My xeon 1.6 lv's should be up and running 50/50 rosetta/qmc.
