    +1

I suspect my Seasonic 600W is dodgy and blew my week-old Sandy 3700. Phoned OcUK and explained this to them, they gave me an RMA number immediately. Can't argue with that. I've no regrets about pre-ordering an E6700 from them; as I explained elsewhere, it may be a premium price but it means I'm guaranteed one as soon as they arrive. If there's a water-in-desert situation with these (like the Optys last autumn), even less reason to regret.

Tekheads has the Infinity listed for roughly the same price, slightly cheaper postage.

what ddr2 are you going to use when you get your conroe ?
Bought some ADATA DDR2-667 off ebay for £90 (2GB)

If I find out that it'll limit my Conroe OC then I'll buy something better but atm I'll see how this stuff clocks.

could only find one review on them which was crappy; OC results = 230 fsb they say, like wtf does that mean lol They don't say what divider they were using, what volts and whether the (3.8ghz p4) cpu was limiting them.

So anyway, I'll see how they clock at first. Worst case scenario is they do stock and only get chip to 3ghz lol... THEN I'll upgrade

Where did you get your HZs from lee? I've been looking for a place that do them in the UK, but can only find the PC2-64000 ZXs or the PC2-8000 HZ set. I was going to import but I'd rather order from UK retailer if they've out there.

I was dissapointed when I saw those OcUK Conroe prices, I'm sure they'll be more affordable later in the year. I'll also probably wait until they have them at Microdirect/Aria.

I found all the prices that OcUK are offering on these chips are rather high. From the pricing guides I’ve seen, I was expecting the E6300 to be in the £100 region with the E6600 in the £150 - £200 region. But still, these chips are pretty cheap when compared to what they are competing with - £200 will just about buy you an X2!

Just got some of mine in. Few RRP ones and then an ES one.

Funny the Retail from my Intel contact from Japan and they got here faster than the ES from the USA.

Yet to open my retails but they have been sold anyway

Ya, i read that they were doing about 720 on cas 4 on Newegg reviews. If they do that I'll be very happy because I bought these for only slightly more than a 1gb kit of corsair value lol..

Thanks for getting back to me. I ordered some from Memory Configurator as I could get them without VAT.

Edit: They just arrived with DHL now, they're from batch 0606 now at Mem Configurator.
