I'm not certain on this, and it's kind of a shot in the dark, but i vaguly remember seeing somewhere that BT-E is 2.5ns and BT-37E is 3.7ns. I could be completely wrong with those numbers though...

Most of the early DDR2 IC's were rectangular-shaped. The true Fat Body (at least the ones that most people want) have the codes D9DQT (BT-3) and D9DQW (BT-37E) etched on them.

No wonder i saw some overweight Hynix chips. That explains it. I was wondering if Hynix suddenly saw a possible demand for fat chips.

The shape of the IC will give you a clue as to whether they might be true Fat Body chips. But of course, the real test is whether they can run 3-2-2 @ 350 or higher.

The one that linked NCIX to some Crucial PC2-5300 Ballistix? Yeah I saw it, but those aren't all D9 fatty...are they? I bought .8FA on ebay for $142 shipped which would be aproximately the same price as on NCIX after shipping, if not a little less, but mine are for sure D9 fatty since they're .8FA. At least, that's what I gathered from your posts earlier in this thread (which I quoted in my last post in this thread)

I believe all the 2x512mb sticks are STILL fatties, although things may have changed in recent weeks.....Regardless, you did get Fatties, so it's definately not a BAD buy

BTW: Yours should be EXACTLY the same as mine.....
