Ha, so true. But I cant blame them, if I got free stuff I would be selling it like crazy. By the way, Mike you plan on selling that chip anytime soon?

    O and nice 7950 clocks.

what are you talking about ? we already have that here and in a big way.
every single merom, yonah, conroe, many of the M2 models, and tons and tons of other chips thruought the past have been passed to other people at 100% profit.
the only problem here is that they are breaking NDA and Reviewer contractual agreements by doing so.
now they can lie and say all they want but if you have a chip that isnt even retail yet,, its being sold illegally.
there is nothing legal about it.
its jsut that the manufacturers have never and probably will never do anything about it until such a time that something is shown or sold that was never meant to be out in the public.

    anyways..

i hate intel but i LOVE these conroe's!

    Me too

EDIT: Ok, ok, on topic. That 6700 looks quite nice and I am - along with all the other mortals here - anxiously awaiting release of these remarkable chips. I wonder if Vista is 4+ core ready (Kentsfield) or if we'll have to wait for "Vista XL"...

    No nusiance at all!

The motherboard is the Intel D975XBX BadAxe - in my case it's the Rev 3.02 modded to accept Conroe from FCG's sticky.

Great board BTW - was very apprehensive at first - but I have to say I am impressed with it! Very impressed.
