    8k3a+ or KX-7

Ok I currently have an epox 8k3a+. I have heard from a lot of sources that the KX-7 performs much better. Since then I have thought about getting one. But would it be worth it or should I stay where I'm at. I mean they aren't that expensive right now. Also with all the new stuff thats fixing to come out should I wait? Also how do you do the volt-mod on the kx7.

Well that would depend on you! I have the Asus A7V333 and that is a great board, but since the Abit KX7333 is suppose to be the SH*T, I went ahead and got it. Just because everyone else is having GREAT success overclocking it as well as its performance topping all other mobos. I have done the vcore and vdimm mod to the board but have not installed it yet.

To do the vcore mod to the KX7 all you need is a 18kOhm resister. Find the Hip6301 chip on the board and soldier one end on the resister to pin 7 and the other end to pin 9, with this done you will beable to increase your vcore up to about 2.10v

    Good luck on your decision...
