Hopefully the Asus can overclock this time, besides that factor it appears to be a very nice board.

    thanks for the pics!

    Awesome Motherboard.

I will get that Asus or DFI. That motherboard from Asus looks very attractive.

    P5N32- SLI quite well designed.

Thanks for the pictures the design is awesome.

Yes I agree with you, the best for perfomance still being 775 based motherboards. Intel could support SLI and Crossfire together in its chipset and stop with this laming. Anyway I think I will get this 1 or the DFI. I'm aiming to get the DFI first, it depends which one will come out first so I can grab faster.

Looks pretty good. It's going to be fun seeing how Asus and DFI shake out on this.

i think DFI already told us how things are going to shake out....im mean only 5% of their production will be for intel boards.

From that right there im guessing they dont care too much.

I did not know it is just 5%, but things will change soon with the arrival of conroe.

Now is just 5% next few months 25% and so on.

What i see if we speak clear about enthusiatic is going all straight away to get conroe so things will change soon, just wait and see.

no i dont think so. DFI says just 5% for intel for the next quarter. Im thinking they wont care about conroe untill their AMD sales drop.

DFI surely is a strong AMD partner.

Anyway get to see that after conroe first month sales.

Here are two big problems with this.

    1. Nvidia Intel chipsets suck, plain and simple.

    2. DFI can't make an Intel MB to save their life.

So after the World Cup they will launch everything. That is why Conroe is July 23 after the world cup finals that will finish by July 12.

I cant wait to see how will be.

That revisioned P5N32-SLI SE (Super Edition) seems to be great with SLI.

I hope it will work well with Conroe.

Metroid, SE is not standing for Super Edition, but just like with the A8N SLI SE for 'Second Edition'

The Asus board will definately be great if the chipset doesn't limit overclocking this time around. Wish I could tradein my current board for the SE version. The current version suffers from undervoltage problems however, requesting 1.56V in bios, only gives 1.49 according to probes etc. Hope they fix that too.

Removing the passive heatpipe on the northbridge and mosfets was fairly easy to put a waterblock on, just push those pins down, and clip off the plastic stud on the other end and they pop right off.

I think that dual card gaming is becoming more platform dependant than CPU dependant. I could see SLI rigs performing superior on AM2 vs Conroe just due to the chipset. Obviously it is speculation at this point, so I will be keeping a close eye out on results.

On topic now, any news on whether 965 can enable SLI through drivers?
