    7900gtx Or X1900xt

Question in Title, both same price
What's better in stock performance, and what's better in OC?
And does it worth to add an extra 90$ to get X1900XTX?
    Thx

XTXs clock better for Memory than the XT and I would say.

    Get the x1900XTX.

and the X1900 series do HDR and AA if that's your thing, I personally don't like HDR.
Microsoft's homepage can be found at: thesource-dot-ofallevil-dot-com - interesting, no?

    Use this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102020

Until DX10 cards come. THEN spend $400++ for a new card, not now.

perkam.. there's sense in what you're saying, and I heard that the X1900GT is excellent for OC and can pass the XTX with OC... but where i live it cost 355$, in the same price I can buy 7900GT...
    cirthix
    X1800XT cost 336$ here.. 30$ cheaper then 7900GT / X1900GT..
    so..
maybe i'll go on something cheaper like 7900GT / X1800XT / X1900GT instead of 7900GTX etc. and when DX10 comes out i'll buy a better card..
is it smart to do it?

DX10 won't come out until Vista does. Probably delayed. Getting a deal on an XT for maybe <$400 or so minus whatever you can sell it for when you upgrade isn't a lot of money for everyone.

Oh, and go I'd go with ATi. I actually changed my whole system to crossfire them. HQ AF and AA in more of my titles like Oblivion.

is X1900GT better than X1800XT 256mb? if so, I think I'll go on X1900GT [cost here 355$], I will overclock it, so the performance will be like an XT or something, and when DX10 comes out i'll sell it + add 250$ and buy the best that will be in the market.
    Thx all for the help

no one can agree which is better. My vote goes for the 7900gtx because its 32 pipes even though its clocked a little less. Dont worry about dx10, itll be 3 years before we see dx10 games. I had a ti4200 long after the 9700pro was out cause no game took advantage of dx9.
