    Is my imagination or is GA-965P-DQ6 aswell as newer mobos that support conroe not backwards compatible with standatr p4 cpus?

    Aahh

    Ah but both remain socket 775 only the vrm that changes. But why not still be capable of supporting single core p4 cpus? Thus purchasing a mobo now for about $400 and a cpu for at least $1100 +
