    Have you seen Pentium D 9xx stepping C1 (SL95x)?

Intel announced Pentium D 930/940/950 stepping C1 (SL95x) in April !!!, but there is no such CPU, everywhere only stepping B1(SL94x)

Thank you. I know, that all Intel Pentium D 960 have only stepping C1.

But I am interesting about 930/940/950.

I was told the exact opposite, but nevertheless, did you use a B1 before and if you did which overclocked/ran cooler?

    1. What's the date of production (on the box)?
    2. OEM or box?

TaPaKaH, where did you get the C1 from? I've been to Fry's twice, with pack dates in May on both 940 processors, and both were B1 core stepping...

I want to get my hands on the 940 w/C1 stepping!

    4.5GHz on TT BigTyphoon - rock stable @ 1.45V
    4.605GHz on TT BigTyphoon - rock stable @ 1.5V
4.77GHz on TT BigTyphoon - suicide shot @ 1.5V - the result is limited by the MoBo (P5LD2 doesn`t want to go higher than FSB=320 )

Wanted to test it @ P5WD2-E ... but people from school don`t want it to be Xtremely OCed

What about the results with standard vcore (1.2xv?)?

    And how's the temperature?

This CPU was never tested @ stock ... 1st start after buying -> go to BIOS - set 4.5GHz @ 1.5V ... then lowered the voltage to 1.45 ...
    And how's the temperature?
    4.5GHz, 1.45V : 40-42/53-56 (idle/load)
    4.6GHz, 1.5V : 44-47/57-59

Is the FSB limitation at 1320 (i.e. typeo)? I'm actually looking at this board, after I found out the Asus P5ND2-SLI is not compatible. Besides the inability to do extreme overclocking, how have you found it? Have you set up a RAID 0 by chance?

A bit more than my budget really wants to spend though...

    Yes ... but usually P5LD2s are limited @ about 350-360MHz ...
P.S. P5ND2-SLI is compatible neither C1-Presler, nor OC
