    I Need a 2T BIOS for ABIT NF7-S v2.0

I´ve tried to search but the search function wouldn´t work so Im posting a thread insted if that´s okey.

My RAM doesen't seem to work very well with my orginal bios..so I need a bios that has CPC = OFF (or if you prefer to say a 2T bios).

I wan´t so make sure it works good so if you could give me a tip on a very stable and well known (that many people use without any problems) BIOS I would be happy.

As you see my english is crap, but here is my computer:

    ABIT NF7-S v2.0
    AMD XP-M
TWINMOS Speed Premium PC3200 512mb (I have two but can only use one due to bios)
    Maxtor 200gb IDE
    R9800Pro

    and so on..

I use the win program "FlashMenu"to flash, if I should do it another way, please let me know and tell me how to do it!

    Thank you,

    /Daniel

becouse nf2 is unstable with "dualsided RAM" (if you understand what I mean), which my Twinmos are:

I can only use one RAM (512mb) insted of both (1024mb) and it's driving me crazy to only have 512mb ram

Well, im no expert, but when I used Abit AN7 which is similar to NF7-S and I used both my 512 mb, but i could bearly run @ 210 mhz @ 3.26V and 2.5-3-3-11, but when i changed to 2T bios i could run at least 220 mhz 2-2-2-5 at the same voltage, and I´ve heard people which had the same problem.

    edit: btw, on which board?

Using the stock Abit official bios 19, I could only get up to 220FSB with my Corsair PC3200XL (2x512) TCCD. But, with Enduracell/TicTac's 18de81t (CPC-ON), I can get up to 236FSB with the same memory in dual-channel mode. Plus, my timings are 2-3-3-8 at 2.9v.

With my NF7-S v2.0, the official Abit bios only allowed up to 220FSB with my mobile XP2600+ and Corsair PC3200XL memory. With D26 Mantarays XT (1T), I could go up to 235FSB so I stabilized with the 10.5x multiplier for 10.5x235 @1.8v. Memory timings are 2-3-3-9 @2.9v.

I don't think one necessarily needs a 2T bios when overclocking with TCCD memory and mobile XP cpu. At least not in my case because using the 2T version of the same bios didn't allow a higher FSB OC.

okey I see, good for you.

But ny RAM uses the new BH-5 chipset so thats different.

anyway I need a 2t bios and I think Im gonna go for d24_4247_edc18.

Only one question, with one bios it says "Command Per Clock: Disable - doesn't work"

and another says "Command Per Clock: Disable - work", what does that mean?

in both cases CPC is of right??
