The issue is his statement about the new TeamGroup memory being the "best DDR2 around retail". Best in terms of what? I would agree that it appears to be good DDR2 for the price, assuming everyone gets similar results. That remains to be seen. Again, I own a couple pairs of TeamGroup memory and have been pleased with my RAM. But the screens he's shown so far do not prove to me that the new TeamGroup DDR2 is the best. Not by a longshot.

Just an FYI guys, Kevin (OPB) apparently has all the memory right now, he's testing it all to make sure it works. From what the folk sat Team told me, I can have it up for sale Monday. So it should be listed as "in stock" then and good to go.

Team is being very careful and is making sure to hand test each and every single kit, from what I understand. So we're sorry about the delay, but it should be worth it

Re: the model number- That's the model number I was given directly from Team. From what I understand from OPB/Team, the memory could be aggresively binned as CL3 without much problem. However, to be safe, they are marking it as CL4 so that there is no complaints about getting a kit here and there that won't run at full speed. This is what I have gathered, so this may not be 100% true, so don't hold me to it

Even though OPB's sticks specifically show the model number as C3? We just want some kind of assurances that the ram OPB is testing and showing in this thread is the ram you'll be selling, not something else.

    now, below is my words:
1.8v~2.2v IC spec.(Don't tell me 1.8v can do that as well as the word-game)

Those modules up and sale on Monday@ Tankguys are:
** All micron D9 BGA D9GMH IC with BP mill DDR2 1.1 version

    1. 512mbx2 DDR2 667mhz CL:3-4-4-8; (single side config.)

    2.1gx2 (2gb set) DDR2 667mhz CL:3-4-4-8; without heat-spreader.(Double sied config.)
Every pair has my ID sign on that. and I know where is my special mark.

    3. 2.1gx2 (2gb set) DDR2 800mhz CL:4-4-4----> I love this more than 667 c3

Hope this clear some confusion; also I appreciate Tankguys and those who still love TG, you guys will see. Now, please don't tell me that would not even close...cuz this time I did not test on AMD, I am totally sick of AMD's theory of (Memory controller build inside of CPU...bla bla bla)..every pair is all fair to test on the Intel x975x board; if you feel not fair, please state the platform you feel completely unbias, and I can test in front of you.

I think I did that the other day
    CL3 can go over 800 no problem(some can do 3-3-3, 3-4-3, 3-4-4....depends)

Cl4...definitely no problem go over 1000

CL4 can go over 1000, but at what timings? How far can the CL4 ram go at CAS 3?

    good question,
from the first moment when I get it work under intel 975x Bad axe r304,
it gave me 1030 4-4-4-x(and pretty tight secondary timings)
then board was dead now,; honestly, Not have any chance to try further for CAS3 yet.

but you can't missed Fredyama's super pi 32m
    He better got cherry picked...
When that moment, OPB was no idea what DDR2 is...

Mr. Fredyama, sorry to borrow your pic.
I believe showing my screenie with my Team memory modules is mislead.
Besides, I am no way participating in XtremeCommercial Org period

That's what I want to know....

OPB referenced another kit entirely, even showed pictures of a 667Mhz C3 part... but it's nowhere on Team Group's website, and isn't sold on Tank Guys...

TXDD2048M667HC3DC is the model number, but that doesn't seem to exist? Is this the same thing as TXDD2048M667HC4DC ??

    It should be...

    Because: "PC5300 DDR2 667MHz 2*1GB 4-4-4-12 64*8 16 Chips TXDD2048M667HC3DC"
While it is: TXDD2048M667HC4DC, and this 4 probably refers to the cas latency.

    Thanks Ben,
BTW, the model numbers you list is "old" modle numbers;those C4 should be c3
regardless website states that as c4(except that ddr2 800 module).

    Sorry about the confusion there.
