Well, time to play some DDR2? I believe that it is about the time.
It's no doubt that everyone all clearly understand " Micron D9 Fat-body IC "
is the best DDR2 by far. However, due to the fact that D9 fat-body is no longer produced; what
else we are going to expect? Today, I will bring this very powerful Team Group DDRII 1GB set
(512mb x 2 sticks Dual Channel kit) to every extreme user.

Now , let's see the RAM itself.
From the picture showing below, we can easily find out the difference between Team Group DDR 1
and DDR 2 by the color of heat spreaders. It's made by Alumium with silver color.
Label:
well, the most important part is here. I think you all know that logo and "D9"?
One thing that catch my eyes is the pcb Team Group used for their DDR2;
it is still the BP mill pcb.
ok, let 's see some basic stability benches:

I have to be honest with everyone here, for DDR2 and Intel system, I am really a
completely noob. In order to give the unbias bench report, the results I post here are NOT from
so-called
"Cherry picked". Until the last moment I finished that ddr 727, 3-3-3-4; I really don't have any idea
if I can apply the parameters I set on the memset 1.1.
Now, let's see:
Directly give DDR 720+ with CL3-4-4-x super pi 32m completed with
vdimm set to auto under bios.
After that run, I was thinking if I can apply 3-4-3, so I did the most benches on that
timings included some 3d and prime actions.
super pi 32m:
3D mark:
01se:
03:
06:
sp2004 latest version running for 1 hour 40 mintes errorless.
Finally, I thought I can finish all the benches , so initially this super pi 32m was for fun,
and it was totally out of my expectation when I set the tRtc as 3 then apply. It was amazing
I did not have the system locked up ; so I then go ahead and let it run through whole 32m until
it finished.
During the run to 11st iteration, pic took by digital camera:
finished:
captured from windows:
Certainly, need to give the cpuz verified:
Certainly, everyone will doubt, how about 2gb kit dual channel? well, no prob, I will
do my best to bench with the same memory parameters as 1gb, 512mb x2 set.
This is really the one you definitely want to get on your list if you can't get Fat-body anymore
Thank you very much for reading.
