OK, i got my pump in the mail yesterday

. I'm workin today and tomorrow 8-5 so I won't have much time, but friday is lookin good. I actually feel that I can finish the actual chiller, no wiring, but I'm sure I can get it running.

Well, it's saturday and I went out and bought more spray paint. It's a really nice gloss black that will look really good. I picked up some good wire for the box and leads, and I also got four red cathodes for the lighting inside the box and chiller

. When I actually get some time to work on it, i'll update with pictures.

On another note, I've had a few requests for me to repost the first pictures. That's a little hard to do right now. I found my camera, which my parents had, but my good memory stick is MIA. My bet is they left it in seattle, but who knows.....

OK, so a trip to lowe's brings me do a halt again. I guess I misunderstood you guys when you said denatured alcohol was cheap! To fill my system with 70 denat/30 water it's going to cost me close to 50 bucks. What are my other options?

That's exactly what I was thinking! Use the denatured to keep the glycol from slushing up, and both will do the same for the water. What would you recommend as a mixture ratio?

heavier on the dentured lighter on the glycole and even more so on the water tweak it from there.

How does 50/40/10 (denat/glycol/h2o) sound? I honestly don't know what kind of temperatures to except, but a guy I work with says the compressor is pretty powerful and the temps should be good.

I finally got time to work on the chiller. My buddy and I attached everything to the base, built a shelf for the pumps, installed the pumps, installed the tubing, and put on insulation. I then started on the wiring, and everything but the fans and the eheim are wired up. I should be able to get the wiring and the box done tomorrow. The pictures are cell phone specials, so sorry about the poor quality.
