    Fatbody D9 @ 548MHz/DDR1096

Step 1: Getting some speed out of some D9's - done
Step 2: High FSB on a Conroe ready mobo
    Step 3: Conroe

    Corsair 5400UL v1.5, vdimm: 2.55v

Not really as good as Rev.A unfortunately, especially not at 3-2-2-5-2

Wow, can't say I've ever seen 1.5's pull off speed like that.

Tried running a little higher FSB and added a little more vdimm. 365FSB, 2.58V vdimm.

Haven't tried, I want it tight

    Aiming at 400+ FSB, 3:4, 533+ MEM
    or 430+ FSB, 4:5, 537+ MEM
Should be easy to find a sweet multi for one of them.

So far, the sticks are 3D-stable at 542MHz.

I wound up with almost identical results with 5400UL's, though mine are rev 1.2's. Mine don't even scale 1 MHz from going from 4-3-2-4 to 4-3-3-4. I don't think trying any looser would be profitable and I've never bothered. Though I was only in the mid 530's at 2.5v...needed to 2.63 to break 540, definitely a great pair you got there.

PS: Going even tighter is always fun, how about 4-2-2-4 and 3-2-2-4?

I haven't tried 3-2-2-X yet, will do that later.
One of these actually does 558 with 2.55v, but I don't have another stick to match it.

Same here. The weaker of my sticks is 15-20MHz slower than the other...perhaps we should join forces. :p

DC was 463-only pic I can find right now though, just a shot for fun. :-/ Like I said, the slower stick is nearly 20MHz slower than the fastest, appears to be the same case with Crotale. "Matched pairs" doesn't mean much, then again the slowest 5400's can easily wind up 50MHz+ slower.

That's impossible with these sticks... I just made a quick test but they don't even finish SuperPi at 400MHz 4-2-2. 3-2-2 maxed out at around 380MHz
They don't like tRTC 2 at all. 3-3-2 was ok to 420.
4-3-2 is what these are made for

crotale , have you checked what chips your memory uses ??
First 5400UL had D9DQW and later they changed it for D9DQT .

Interesting...that's exactly what I'd have expected from 8000UL's. I think something might be up in some secondary timings or something. It probably isn't a coincidence that the sticks that scale the best 4-3-2-4 often don't do so well tighter.
