    Benchbox SS by Johann

This unit was initially used for experimenting, the experiments and testing went great so I finished it off in a basic benching setup, 1 metre flexline with on/off switch.

I have to say I have had some very pleasant benching sessions with this one sofar, the suctionline reaches everywhere and its very cold. Strangely enough the 14cc Electrolux compressor is rather silent and really powerfull

    Specs:

    Compressor: Electrolux MP14FB R404a/R507a
    Evap: Chilly1 rev e Captube: 2.6m 0.031
Suction flex: 1 metre 3/8 braided
    Gas R402a (Mostly )
    Controller: none

    Temps:

    idle: -70c
    150w resistor load: -48c
    185w resistor load: -44c

On my coldbugged opty 146 at 2.65Ghz 1.68v it pulls -55c and at 3Ghz 1.75v it pulls -53.5c loaded temps.

This unit laughs at high loads, not that the above loads are high but the drop from the voltage and Mhz increase is almost nothing and it pulls the 185w tester to great temps.

Im posting this unit in the for sale section later if anyone is interrested.

    Idle temp:

    Load 2650Mhz 1.68v

    Load 2950Mhz 1.75v

Nice unit you got going there. Really like how it doesn't change much with loading.

Don't we all wish we sold 50 units + not that many on my end... but it is ramping up slowly.
Very awesome ss Want to share a bit of detail? I had one i was running for testing which was... COLD... (not idle but load) but... scared hack out of me with it's pressure.

Once again some really impressive work Johann

The temps are great, and the delta on load is excellent. I've got a real liking for Electrolux compressors, they've worked really well every time I've used them

    Cheers

    Impressive Johann.

    That 402a 507 mix - is that better than a 402a mixed with 293?

I am seeing some really nice temps with this gas - you certainly look to have mastered the mixing.

If we compare the electrolux compressor to the danfoss NL11F in the Mach units - what are the differences (quieter? more capacity etc?)

I am not a phase builder just like to know more about it from the guys who know.

    Any pics on the inside?

Mav, I think you got the gasses a bit mixed up, there is no R507 in this unit also there is no gas called 293 afaik.

For most systems R402a pure is great, thats what I use in 95% of units. This one has a small percentage high pressure gas to boost the boiling point and make use of the extra capacity of the 14cc compressor.

As for the compressor, It has more capacity (not alot) than a NL11f and it runs a little louder than nl11f but for 1/2hp 404/507 compressor its great.

Duniek, static pressure is quite high, the unit is packed away now but as I can remember its around 20-30 psi higher than my normal units.

Compressor temp under 150w load, around 65-70c Under very high load (185w) a few c more.
