I just bought the 520 OCZ powerstream for my 930D just two days ago.
Been testing the system @ 4.0ghz, with stock volts.
It is on an Asus P5WD2-E, with the XFX 7900GT 520 extreme, 2 gigs of ocz 6400 gold, 80gig western digital sata, and a LG DVD burner.
I was running the video test: Rthdribl (Real-Time High-Dynamic Range Image-Based lighting) Version 1.2.
The test was like 5 minutes into it and then a pop with a flash of light comes from the OCZ power supply and the system went dark.
The power supply is toast. I put my 485 Enermax back into the PC and so far everything else seems to be ok.
What a scare. Hope the power supply hasn`t messed anything else up.
Is the OCZ 520 powerstream too little for a 930D @ 4 + ghz?
Should I just take the power supply back and get another the same, and hope for better luck?...
Or should I get something different?.....like a 535 Enermax or something?
