    *OCM* BEFORE's FX-57 @4208MHz under 2 stager

    Hi guys,

Ok, I feel that to be a little bit out of fashion in comparison to newer intels; BTW I'm more than happy today. This FX-57 seems to have been hand picked by God himself.

Actual chip is the one on the left.

    SYSTEM

    FX-57 CABCE 0516WPMW xxxx482xx0213
    DFI nF4 Ult-D R.AD0 1114-3; 623-2BTA
    2*256Mb BH-5 Corsair+Kingston (jmax_oc's hand picked modules!)
    Gigabyte X800XL
    Western Digital 80Gb
    Windows XP Profesional SP2 (Tweaked)
    COOLING

    2*1HP Rotary
    First stage: R290
    Second stage: R170
    SUICIDES @ ~ -100°C Evap

    4208MHz@1.86V

Very very difficult to get something at that clock...

    4170.06MHz@1.86V

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=94127
    SUPER PI

    1M

    32M

Be sure that I'll try to do some benchies with higher clocks but my cascade has got some trouble with loading temps at that level. A third stage or at least better refrigerants might be required.

The chip is cold-bugged at about 240HTT @ -50°C core.

    Best Regards,

    Xavier

    Nice results.
It's nice to see some AMD clocking results in these days of conroe/merom agony.

Nice results, thats got to be fiddly with the coldbug and such a powerful 2-stager benching. Loving the suicide though.

    Thanks all!

@GoThr3k: Despite of the power of this cascade, I'm a little bit pessimistic about benches at 4.0GHz

@nn_step & TaPaKaH: Of course, I had wished to get one... BTW what those validations really mean when you see some awful fakes ranked by CPU-Z records. However, I'll try my luck again It's just a matter of good temp...

@nachtymnen: I'm sure your 0530 will perform very well!

    Congrats again. \

How about a higher multi? Is it available? Never had the pleasure of playing with an FX myself...

    Congratz again for the WR!
4.2GHz for an AMD it's absolutely amazing.

Do you have the possibility to try this chip under LN2?
    Can you imagine the 4.3GHz?

@fatty: I'm sure your chip can do better with a tweaked OS dude... If I correctly remember, your 4GHz screen was performed with an standard windows.

@nachtymnen: I don't know; may be BTW I'll check some R1150 for second stage and higher clocks might be possible.
