The only issue you might run into is with whatever CPU cooler you are using. I have the Corsair Dominator fan on my ram and the only thing is that is sits high in front of the CPU fan. I don't think it would effect performance either, but maybe accoustics.

My computer has been unhappy lately. When I enable LLC, the voltage stays above 1.4v almost always. When I disable, it drops as low as 1.392.

The problem is that I'm getting higher temps with the higher voltage (46*C or more idle) instead of 40. I keep reading about people having vCores in the low 1.300's, how can I do that? (or is that what happens when you get a "good chip"?)

I'm also getting blue screens here and there and games have frozen on me a few times (I was playing Batman AA and it froze) I'm having a hard time figuring out if this is the GFX card's problem though...

Any suggestions on where to start?

Is PLL set to 1.5 keeping my vCore higher than what I set it to with LLC enabled?

I had 500 FSB 1:1 stable with MCH 1.26 V, 2x2 GB. Haven't tried lower voltages. That was on Core2Duo though.

For example, i run 333x6 @ 1.1 MCH / 0.95VCore. Eveything is smooth, but if i wanna change to 333x9.5 @ 1.1 MCH / 1.1VCore it sometimes fail to boot and it keep restarting and restarting over and over again. I have to power it off and then power it on again and it works. Voltages/setups are 300% working, this is not the the problem, i have 3-4 setups rock solid (2GHz @ 1.1 MCH / 0.91VC, 3.16GHz @ 1.1MCH / 1.1 VC, 3.8 GHz @ 1.18-1.2 MCH / 1.184 VC, 4.03 GHz @ 1.22-1.24 MCH / 1.23 VC, setups which i use depending of my needs. What is the problem ?

I don't see any logical reason to fail sometimes when passing from a lower clock to a higher clock setup when every voltage is perfect (especially since these clocks are daily use clocks, not uber high and has been tested hard to prove 101% stability). Memory is set @ DDR2 800 @ 1.8V or around DDR2 1000-1100 @ 2.06-2.2V, performance level is quite loose, PL8-9. Has anyone of you encountered this problem ? A BIOS update may be a solution ?
Got that issue 2, on 333 strap 2.00b with pl9 when restarting after a 12 h succesfull run of prime95 and when it finally gets going my setup is on default clock, and can't boot anymore with pl9. When i put pl 10 i have no issues on booting.

    Hi Guys

I need you to help me .

    I Have EP45-UD3R Rev 2.1 // Q9550 E0

I want to know what is the best bois should i use with my Ep45 , Im using the F11 .. Also i want to know if it safe to downgrade the bois or not ??

because i noticed a bug in the F11 bois

When i choose some volt configration ( speially the CPU Ref Volt , MCH Reference Volt) some value in bois then open ET6 in Windows i Relaize that the Volts had been changed wo be less that i chose

for example when i choose CPU Ref Volt 0.85 i open ET 6 then find it 0.76 !! so wut is the real one ?

but when i set these volt to be .85 in ET6 i got more stabilty in overclocking

    So is this normal ???

Thanks guy , waitng for you help

Does this motherboard have the right sound connections for an X-5500 speaker system? What kind of speakers can it support?

What do you guys think about the EP45T-UD3LR? will the 4 pin ATX and 4 phases hold back the same stable OC I got on the EP45-UD3R?

I read the new P45 bioses unlock 0.5 multi, someone with Q9450 8x333 can use the 0.5 multi, so he get 8.5x333. can someone confirm that?

Lower reads and higher latency? What exactly are you talking about? I have been scratching my head for the last couple days as to why my SSD has slower reads than it should and latency a littler higher than it should. Is this what you are referring to?

    dont worry mate...

if it don't let you do it on Qflash just use FLASHSPI on DOS with a bootable pen drive and go back to F10b
