I've just placed an order for Watercool Heatkiller 1366 backplate (stated M4 screw), and I hope it is compatible with Alphacool mounting screws. Crossing fingers.

Alphacool CPU blocks are nice, but the instruction is mediocre at best. For example, I have the optional CoolCover and the instruction said to tighten knob until...hmmm...to look like Bundy's illustration photo a few posts back. However, for doing so as per instruction, the board will bend like a solar eclipse (crescent). The problem is the spring is too long and the cover tube is too short. Oh well...I hope the Heatkiller's backplate solve this issue.

Thanks for the heads up and please keep us posted on the Heatkiller backplate.

That is great news. Thanks for posting. Which way are you going to place it. Horizontal or vertical? And you got any pics.

I don't have my own picture but my installed block looks like this; focus on the 'alpha' symbol. I also use Koolance 45-degree adapter to allow me to use compression fittings.

Any Pics Yet. Just got mine, but have to wait another month for the rest of my parts. Did you get the Alphacool CoolCover Universal CPU Mounting Kit as well?

Here is what it looks like without the Mounting Kit. I will change out to the Kit, just seeing if it comes in other colors then just Brass.

Hmm, bad news ... I have this block, and tube 3/8 "I'm waiting to reach these connectors, because for this block are rare.
Do you think im risking if i connect these compression fittings on my tube?
What solutions do i have? Maybe others connectors?
    Thanks!

Yes, o know that solution, with 45ş compression fittings.
But without angle, what we have more beyond, these fittings?
Im having a lot of difficult to find compress fittings, to my block and my tube..
I just dont want barb fittting with clamps.
I shouldnt have bought this block. Its to limited.

    Thanks!
