I'am lucky to test the news Kit with a good motherboard soon availible a Evga P55 FTW.

I have to say i liked to old fins on top of the heatspreader a lot better, still awesome performing ram though.

Yes the Cas 6 & 7 is very good , i think to limited frequency on Cas 8/9 by the cpu (maybe under cold is better) wait & see

Yes very impressive for the air , i think to take 1040mhz 6/7/6/24 at 1.86v spi 32mo (i test at 1055mhz 6/7/6/24 a Superpi 1mo easy)

These sticks respond to being cold too. Around -30 ~ -60 is best.
