    Chri$ch, could you please confirm available memory multipliers on your retail 920? Are they only 6 and 8 as seem on ES chips?

    thanks for posting some decent posts chri$ch, whats your early impressions of the i7 as i know you had some decent e8000 series cpus, it seems the only downside to these new i7 chips is the shear heatload they produce although in fairness they seem to handle the extra heat better than the qx's

    On the ASUS P6T-D you only have the option of 8x or 6x with the 920.

    I have read that "increases in uncore frequency is not nearly as useful as increasing the CPU frequency. Intel optimized the uncore for power consumption"

    12x is the C1E

    I haven't heard anything about the Gigabyte X58-DS4, other than box pictures, which will apparently be the cheapest X58 mobo, since X58-UD5 is already cheaper than any of the Asus/MSI/Intel mobos I've seen.

    No one has received a single sample?

    I'm really looking forward to buy a Core i7 kit in December, and yeah, by then more mobos will probably have been released...

    Has anyone tested one yet? can it get to 200bcl?

    Another question is, any words from Thermalright on when they'll start selling kits for LGA1366? I don't want to buy a new cooler, and don't want to have to wait too long on the stock cooler of my future 920...

    All the turbo does is increase the multiplier from 20 to 21.

    If you already have a Thermalright Ultra series heatsink then all you need to get is the LGA 1366 mounting bracket which they sell here.

    In fact, Thermalright is getting ready to release an Ultra-120 eXtreme-1366 RT version of their popular heatsink.

    Everything in the bios as default. A slight bump in VDimm all other voltages stock. I then jumped the BCLK to 150, but it crashed pretty quick.
    This is with stock Intel cooler. Hardware Monitor shows 20C lower than CoreTemp & RealTemp (Ambient room temp 28C)

    F2 and F3a, with both are the multipliers unlocked.

    Uncore = x12 - x48
    Mem = x6 - x18
    QPI = x36 - x48
